I was born and raised in Elk Grove, California. My primary sports growing up were soccer and racing off-road motorcycles. During high school I was a 9 year Varsity athlete competing in Cross Country, Swim, and Track. My freshman year of high school I decided to stop playing soccer and off road racing to focus on triathlons and school sports. I competed in Jr. Elite races but gravitated towards non-draft racing and won the ITU U20 Age Group World champs and helped CU Boulder win 3 USAT Collegiate championships. In April of 2015 I qualified for my Elite (professional) license at Collegiate Nationals in South Carolina. 2016 was my first professional season where I was named USAT Elite Men’s Rookie of the Year. In May 2018 I graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder with a degree in Business Marketing. Now I continue to train, race, and coach based in Boulder with the goal for qualifying for Ironman 70.3 World Championships. I also have a part time job at Microchip Technology as an inside sales representative.
